Walk Through the Door

Brother Neff’s Collections – March 31, 2015

Revelation 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

The apostle Paul asked the Christians in Colosse to pray that God would open to him a door that he might speak “the mystery of Christ” (Col. 4:3). Paul recognized the importance of open doors – those God-given opportunities to witness and serve the Lord. Today we also need God to give us open doors as we seek to witness for Him.

Jesus reached out to the lost everywhere He went. It did not matter what their spiritual condition was or their station in life, He reached out to all. We must do the same. There are people all around us that have spiritual, physical, financial, and emotional needs. Let us be determined to reach out to help them and share the “Good News” with them.

Reflection—Be on the lookout (behold) for opportunities of service and witnessing, and when God opens the door, let’s be diligent to walk through it.
