Msg #2644 Eternal Life or Eternal Death

What The Bible Says
Good Samaritan’s Penny Pulpit by Pastor Ed Rice

The seventh and final stewardship test for mankind, called in the Bible “the dispensation of the fullness of times” (Eph.1:10), ends exactly as prophesied in the Revelation of Jesus Christ 20:7-9. Finally, the Devil, Satan, the old serpent, that deceived mankind for all of his 7,000 years is “cast into the lake of fire and brimstone”, and at a “great white throne… the dead, small and great, stand before God”(20:10-12). You will be standing there if you were not part of the first resurrection, “on such the second death, (eternal death) hath no power.” Only those with eternal life will avoid the eternal death, and the only way to get eternal life is to be “born-again” the Bible way; not the Roman way, not some church’s way, not some religion’s way, the Bible way of John 3:16-18, 36, 5:24, and Romans 10:9-10. It’s eternal life or eternal death. “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire” (Rev.20:15).

Only born-again believers in the Lord Jesus Christ step out of the Revelation of Jesus Christ chapter 20, and enter into chapter 21, to see the new heaven and the new earth, to hear the great voice out of heaven saying, behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God” (21:1-3). Secure your destiny while you have breath, “Today is the day of salvation.”

Believers can look forward to heaven, eternity with God, “no more tears, no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away” (21:4). I look forward to seeing you there.
