The teenage birth rate in the United States has fallen to the lowest level since 1946, according to a recent study by the National Center for Health Statistics. An overall rate drop of 9 percent from 2009 to 2010 was accompanied by decreases in the rates of all racial and ethnic groups and virtually every state, but experts caution that the numbers hide other problems.
