International Mission Board President Tom Elliff reminded in his report at the Southern Baptist Convention annual meeting in New Orleans that the Conservative Resurgence began some 30 years ago in New Orleans. If it was worth saving the Word of God, he asked, is it not worth more to share that Word of God with people worldwide who have never heard the Gospel?
