CP still ahead of budgeted goal for year

Year-to-date contributions to Southern Baptist national and international missions and ministries received by the SBC Executive Committee are $5,628,995.10, or 5.19 percent above the year-to-date budgeted goal, and are 0.22 percent behind contributions received during the same time frame last year. “This marks the fifth consecutive month that CP contributions to the missions and ministries of the SBC have shown an increase,” SBC Executive Committee President Frank S. Page. “Given the economic distress faced by so many of our churches and their members during the past four years, it is encouraging to see their continued willingness and the slow but steady improvement in their ability to provide financial support for the convention’s ministries.”
