The culmination of the seven year tribulation, after the seven seals, trumpets, and vials of the wrath of God poured out, after man blasphemes the God of heaven because of their pains and repented not of their deeds, there is a great battle, a world war. The Bible says, “God gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon” (Rev.16:16). John saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, the mouth of the beast, the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty (16:13-14).

This battle defies description; “For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood; … and blood came out of the great winepress of the wrath of God, even unto the horse bridles” (Isa.26:21,Rev.14:19-20). “For my determination is to gather the nations, assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy” (Zeph.3:8); “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling, (Zech.12:9); “For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, the King of kings’s feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, … And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: … he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. … Watch therefore, for ye know not the hour.”
