Msg #2643 Jesus Christ Ruling For 1,000 Years

What The Bible Says

Good Samaritan’s Penny Pulpit by Pastor Ed Rice

The Millennial Kingdom follows the full restoration of Israel, all twelve tribes, occupying the whole promised land, with a fully restored temple in Jerusalem. Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, the Lamb, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, shall set on the Throne of David on God’s Holy Hill of Zion in the City of Jerusalem. It is all literal, and it is all promised repeatedly in the Holy Bible, God’s inerrant, infallible, inspired Word. When one uses proper historical-literal-grammatical scripture interpretation, not Roman/Protestant allegorical-mystical interpretations, the Bible means what it says and says what it means. And in no uncertain words it says all these things about the Millennial Reign of Christ.
A dispensation is a period of stewardship; both words have the same root. When the Bible speaks of dispensations it is pretty easy to detect seven distinct periods wherein man fails each stewardship test. The present dispensation, wherein God’s grace enables whosoever will to have a right relationship with his Creator through God’s Only Begotten Son, will soon end. It ends as it was in the days of Noah, “every imagination of the thoughts of (man’s) heart was only evil continually”; it ends as it was in the days of Sodom, with vile sodomy rampant. It has never been easier for man to be saved, “For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved” (Jhn.3:17).
The seventh, and last dispensation is this Millennial Kingdom, wherein the curse is lifted from the earth, Israel is restored to preeminence, and Christ rules all nations “with a rod of iron.” One can see how it ends in Revelation 20:7-9. Today is “the day of salvation” (2Cor.6:2); don’t miss the opportunity, don’t be “Left Behind.”
