Roughly half of the yard signs around North Carolina supporting a proposed constitutional marriage amendment have been stolen or damaged, according to the communications director for the group promoting the amendment. Meanwhile, a new poll shows the amendment maintaining the 14-point lead it enjoyed one week earlier. The amendment would define marriage as being between one man and one woman.
