While the Southern Baptist Convention Pastor’s Conference was in session June 18, several dozen Hispanic pastors and leaders met in the SBC Prayer Room at 7 p.m. to pray. The annual occurrence is sponsored by the National Fellowship of Hispanic Churches of the SBC as part of its regular agenda of activities. Leaders said their belief in the power of prayer motivated them to gather for nearly two hours to pray for the June 19-20 SBC annual meeting in New Orleans.
