Calvinism conf. with nat’l figures coming to Ky.

The Kentucky Baptist Convention will sponsor a conference on Calvinism in August featuring four well-known panelists from divergent viewpoints, and despite its regional sponsorship, the conference likely will get widespread attention throughout the Southern Baptist Convention. Speakers are David Dockery, Steve Lemke, Frank Page and Hershael York.

WMU introduces new trademark & tagline

WMU has introduced an updated trademark and a new tagline as key elements for the missions organization’s branding. WMU’s new trademark incorporates two elements from WMU’s original version in 1913: the fish and a stylized circle or world. WMU’s new tagline is “Missions for Life.”
