Texas pastor Nathan Lino will be nominated to the office of first vice president of the Southern Baptist Convention during the annual meeting in New Orleans this summer. Florida pastor Ken Whitten told the Florida Baptist Witness of his intention to nominate Lino, saying, “I believe Nathan’s vision and leadership are exactly what we need in Southern Baptist life.”
