It’s been 20 years since the U.S. Supreme Court’s Planned Parenthood v. Casey ruling gave states permission to place certain restrictions on abortions. While pro-lifers were disappointed the court didn’t overturn abortion rights in the 1992 decision, an Americans United for Life attorney points out progress states have made in protecting life because of regulations the Casey ruling allows.
